THE WORLDS BIGGEST St GEORGES DAY PARADE over 25,000 people attend each year incorparating a fete which includes  Facepainters / Morris Dancers / Bands /Craft Stalls / Mascots / Celebrity Guests / Tug of War Contest / NON POLITICAL, ALL WELCOME. We are lead into the Park by The Royal British Legion where a minutes silence is observed for our Fallen Heroes

The Branch Chairman will be speaking at the Eastbourne Rotary Lunch about RSStG and St George. At 6pm we have a special St George's Day Service in St Andrew's Church, Alfriston (the Cathedral of the South Downs) conducted by our Chaplain, Revd David Farrant to which the Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff and local Mayors will be invited and this is followed at 7 for 7.30pm by a formal dinner (black tie etc for those who wish).

The 8th Annual Nottingham's St.George's Day Parade
12pm Depart (assemble 11am) From The Forest Rec (Mansfield road) to the old Market Square. 2 x St. George knights on Horses and Police Horses in full regalia will be leading the parade with the Branch's Colours leading the public proudly into Nottingham.

After the parade the Branch will be heading back to the Pheasant Inn (Prospect St, Radford) to celebrate our National Day and hold a raffle. Bouncy Castle, Face Painting,Disco by MURPH Hot food and many other activities in the beer garden.

Annual Service & Parade to celebrate St. George's Day

at St. John's Church, Pier Hill, Southend on Sea beginning at 11.30 a.m. The Parade will muster outside the Naval & Military Club, Royal Terrace from 10.30 a.m. Members of the public are very welcome to attend and should be in their seats by 11.20a.m.The service will be attended by the Mayor of Southend, MP's, Councillors, Freemen of the borough, Past Mayors & Council directors as well as members of the Southend Branch of the Society.

 
After the service, the Mayor will take the salute at the top of Pier Hill & will then inspect the parade outside the Naval & Military Club. Refreshments will then be available in the Club - all are welcome.
 
As the first main parade of the year this is usually very popular. We welcome anybody who wishes to attend but would suggest that they get to the church early in order to get seats - if they are members of a branch we will put them in the reserved seating for members.
