Forthcoming Events

 

1.  An Evening of English Entertainment at Minsterworth Village Hall on Saturday, 13 March, at 7.30pm.  Poetry recitals, including poems by the Gloucestershire poet, F. W. Harvey, who was born in Minsterworth, and traditional English music, with light refreshments.

   

2.  The Branch's 32nd St. George's Day Service - 7.30pm at Gloucester Cathedral on Friday, 23 April 2010.  The Service will incorporate the annual Youth Awards in memory of Captain Robert Nairac, G.C., and these will be presented by Sir Henry Elwes, Lord-Lieutenant for Gloucestershire.  The address will be given by The Reverend Canon Michael Irving, L.V.O.

   

3.  St. George's Tide Banquet - Saturday 1 May 2010 - venue to be confirmed.  Speaker:  Mr. Brian Thornton, former High Sheriff for Gloucestershire
