Her Majesty the Queen's Sapphire Jubilee

The Royal Society of St George is delighted to send our heartfelt congratulations to Her Majesty on the occasion of her Sapphire Jubilee.

Queen Elizabeth II becomes Britain's first ever monarch to mark her Sapphire Jubilee today.

It's 65 years since she became Queen following the death of her father King George VI.

As Britain's longest reigning sovereign, this is a milestone in her reign that the United Kingdom has never seen before with any other monarch.

Although we understand that Her Majesty is spending today quietly at her Sandringham Estate, she is back to a full schedule of duties tomorrow. The Queen has dedicated the whole of her life to her country and to the Commonwealth, and has never ceased in her service. She is truly an amazing lady.

Best wishes
