EVENTS 

The South Florida Branch of the Royal Society of St George is growing from strength to strength.
Our membership has grown in the last two years from 15 to well over 130.
We are well on the way to our target of 200. Members are from Florida, London,
Rome, the West Indies and the Bahamas. The Committee has 12 acting members under
the new chairman, Melvyn Cohen.

A dinner is held each month with live entertainment and a guest speaker.
Various venues are well attended and are very popular.
Members from other branches, including snow birds or vacationers in Palm Beach,
Fort Lauderdale and Miami are welcome to attend our functions.

A newsletter is sent via e-mail or regular mail, consisting of points of interest
along with details of our functions. Money has been donated to several charities
in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

Membership is open to anyone who is committed to the well being of England and Englishness,
and believes in the ten commandments, and agrees to abide with our bye-laws.

NEWS 
Our St. Geoge's Day celebration dinner at the Holiday Inn in Fort Lauderdale
was most enjoyable thanks to Nina's hard work.
A special thanks to the two very talented twins, Gill and Jackie,
also Andrew and Terry for their fun entertainment. 
The following Attachment is the wonderful collage of photos which our
Vice President, Terry Wright, made for all of us to enjoy. 
You must admit our President, Brian Press, looks grand in his presidential regalia!
As you can see from our smiling faces, we all had a fabulous time.
The food was warm and good, great raffle prizes and most of all, superb company!
